This instructor-led course will help improve plant availability and utilization by providing an overview of Avantis Asset Management and defining the administrative tasks required to support Avantis.PRO. This course will familiarize participants with the features of Avantis.PRO, and the activities which ensure the system is correctly configured prior to use. The content will provide the participants with a basic understanding of how to navigate the system and prepare them to maintain business policies, security profiles, employee profiles, reports, and cabinets. At the end of this course, participants will be able to set up employees with the required security authorizations and create cabinets and views for reporting and analysis. Participants will also be able to build categories to classify their data and will learn how to use features to expand the database. They will be equipped with the knowledge required to ensure that all necessary background programs are performing efficiently

This instructor-led course will help improve plant availability and utilization by preparing participants to use the functionality within Avantis.PRO to manage Inventory. This course will also provide participants with the knowledge required to implement the Inventory module. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to use the Inventory functionality to maintain inventory parts and balances to meet the needs of maintenance on a timely, yet cost-effective basis. They will also understand the steps, setup decisions, and activities that are required to implement the Inventory Module at their location.

Avantis.PRO 4.2 uses Crystal Reports XI as a subsystem to extend its reporting capabilities. This version of Crystal Reports has many new features that enhance the report building experience, including improved productivity and functionality. Report building for Avantis.PRO encompasses a broad range of knowledge and skills. This one-week beginner/intermediary Crystal Reports Training class examines various concepts and techniques related to and necessary for Avantis.PRO Report development. Understanding how to find and work with table data is often a major challenge for new Avantis.PRO report writers. This course teaches students the various techniques of identifying, extracting and working with Avantis.PRO data. This instructor-led course will improve plant availability and utilization by presenting the technical aspects of the Avantis.PRO system and providing an overview of the database architecture. This course will equip attendees with the knowledge required to troubleshoot Avantis.PRO and also provide participants with an understanding of how files are organized on the database, file server, and client. The course addresses system administration issues for either Oracle or SQL and provides suggestions for backup and recovery procedures. Upon completion of this course, participants will understand the architecture of Avantis.PRO. They will be prepared to provide administration services for the Avantis.PRO system and use Avantis-supplied tools to perform basic troubleshooting. Database administrators will be able to tune the databases for optimized performance and ensure that Avantis.PRO runs efficiently.
