The Labor Relations Series is designed for State government supervisors, and human resource and labor relations professionals who need to have a well-rounded grasp of labor relation law, processes, and practices.
This five-course program includes an introduction for State supervisors, The Fair Labor Standard Act, employee and employer rights, how to handle grievances, and how to interpret bargaining contracts. You will gain an understanding of these topics through hands-on exercises and be able to apply the knowledge back on the job.
The five classes are listed below and may be taken in any order, although it is recommended that you take them sequentially if possible.
