Basics of JDA Fulfillment

JDA Fulfillment is an advanced planning solution used to create time-phased replenishment plans for SKUs in a distribution network. The core solution supports two major planning areas: Distribution Planning and Deployment Planning. This education track provides the fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for using the Distribution and Deployment Planning areas of the JDA Fulfillment solution.

Note that separate Focused courses are available that cover advanced Fulfillment features such as Supersession, Dynamic Deployment, Date Sensitive Inventory, Order Optimization, and Constrained Production Planning.

The four-day instructor led course included in this certification track includes hands-on exercises and demonstrations that provide emphasis on specific features and functionality of the solution. Participants will take the knowledge from the training and be able to start using JDA Fulfillment in their Distribution and Deployment planning tasks.

The instructor-led course also includes time to complete an independent business scenario in workshop format, and will conclude with an examination covering the Distribution and Deployment Planning portions of JDA Fulfillment.

A follow-on Virtual e-Learning session will cover the Load Manager Workbench and Build Transportation Loads (BTL) features of the tool.

• Have acquired JDA Fulfillment as part of a software license agreement, and want an in-depth look at the capabilities of the application.
• Are part of an implementation or project team responsible for configuring your network in Fulfillment.
• Are a member of your company's IT department or internal support organization, and will be responsible for supporting end users in Fulfillment.

You should consider attending this course if you :

• Manage the Distribution and/or Deployment Planner role effectively within your organization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot a time-phased replenishment plan using Fulfillment's Plan Analysis and Replenishment Workbench.
• Review and resolve exceptions produced from the Calculate Plan process. 
• Manipulate various parameters to control aspects of your plan such as safety stock, adjustments to the forecast, replenishment quantities and schedules, and deployment considerations such as allocation of available supply.
