Space Automation Professional Certification Track

This certification track provides an overview of scripting as it relates to Space Automation by Intactix. Scripts will allow you to automate many of the tasks that exist within Space Planning, Floor Planning, or Intactix Knowledge Base (IKB).

As a function of your role, you may be responsible for updating Space Planning tasks across many projects and/or planograms. This can be a daunting and enormous task to undertake. By using Space Automation, you are able to make changes to scripts, or create new scripts to automate tasks across many projects.

You should be a JDA certified Space Automation Professional if you:

• Are a certified Space Planner.
• Want to save time and increase accuracy with complex, customized scripts.
• Are challenged to make comprehensive changes to planograms and projects.
• Have a desire to keep planograms up-to-date and maximize space profitability.
• Process hundreds of planograms in order to gather data and generate reports, and are looking to streamline your processes.
• Have a business need to download information to external sources in order to share critical information with associates who do not have access to the Space Planning or Floor Planning applications.

As a JDA certified Space Automation Professional, you will be able to:

• Create advanced scripts to automate repetitive procedures and tasks.
• Decrease position facings across multiple project files.
• Use conditional variables.
• Create customized schematic highlighting.
• Make comprehensive changes to planograms and projects.
• Update projects and fixtures based on business criteria.
• Export table data to external applications.
• Test your script for problems and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
