This course is builds upon the knowledge and skills gained in the Factory Planner Level I Training by addressing some of the more complex features and functionality found in Factory Planner. In the Advanced Materials Planning section, the student will be introduced to additional features such as Assemble-to-Order and Attribute-based Planning. In the Advanced Capacity Planning section we will deal with topics such as Batch Resources and Sequence-dependent Setups. The course also revisits the three main functional processes which consist of Infinite Capacity Planning, Finite Capacity Planning and Advanced Scheduling. These subjects are covered in more detail and greater depth to give the more advanced User a better understanding of the underlying design and implementation choices. .
This course utilizes the web-based user interface and both the native and TmAPI data sources.
This course is composed of the following modules:
Day 1 Module 1: Advanced Materials Planning
Day 1-2 Module 2: Advanced Resources Planning
