Information Links, Bookmarks, and Action links are just a few of the topics discussed in this session.
This course teaches analysts and authors how to use parameters and properties inside their analysis files. You can use parameters to be more specific about data that you want loaded into TIBCO Spotfire and your analysis files. The information passed into the parameters can come from a variety of sources like external applications, forms, marked rows inside an already loaded analysis file, and many more. We will also discuss how to create personalized information links so that you can create one view of the data for all users, but have the data loaded only pertain to data specific to the current user or group the user is in. We will also discuss how to use properties inside an analysis file to create global variables, or to add additional attributes or meta data to different columns or tables in your data set. [Course length: 2 hours]
