Saber Mixed-Signal And Mechatronic Simulation
Overview
This three day workshop prepares students to use Saber for both design and verification work with electronic, mechatronic, mixed-signal or hydraulic systems.
Course material includes a brief overview of common Saber use methods for both design and verification processes.
In this workshop, students will become proficient creating schematics in Saber Sketch, performing a variety of different simulations and analyses using the Saber simulator, and analyzing simulation results using CosmosScope.
Objectives
At the end of this workshop the student should be able to:
- Use the Saber library effectively
- Create schematics in Saber Sketch
- Create hierarchical circuits and macromodels
- Perform nominal-case analyses in time and frequency domains
- Use Saber’s Robust Design and Verification tools
- Automate analysis using script files, Forms and the Experiment Editor
- Use CosmosScope for post-processing and analysis
- Understand methodologies for effective Saber usage
Audience Profile
Engineers who work in design or verification of electronic, mechatronic, mixed-signal or hydraulic systems
Prerequisites
To benefit most from the material presented in this workshop, students should have basic engineering knowledge of their field of application (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, etc.) and understand why they need to simulate a design.
