The Informatica ICC Master Class series is designed for those organizations or individuals who want to increase their level of integration competence to a level of mastery. Session 1: Management and Strategy is based on competencies 1, 4 and 7:

Objectives: At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Establish an ICC Strategy
• Develop a 30-60-90-120+ Day plan to implement and/grow an ICC
• Develop a staffing plan
• Define ICC services and supporting processes and establish agreed-upon service levels
• Establish an ICC Technology strategy including tools, infrastructure, training and investment plan
• Develop a standards governance process
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including Business and IT Executives, Enterprise Architects, Program Managers, Operations Managers and Technology Leaders.

Objectives: At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Develop a technical strategy surrounding the use of data movement and quality tools and establish a customized technology decision tree as a standards governance tool
• Develop an Integration Architecture including standards and governance processes
• Implement a Metadata Management solution consisting of people, process and technology elements for integration with enterprise initiatives
• Develop and maintain a canonical data model and business data dictionary
• Develop and manage a series of production control strategies that comply to industry guidelines in source code management
• Develop a series of code development patterns with regards to data integration and movement.
