5000 InFusion Configuration
This instructor-led course will help increase plant availability and utilization by enabling plant engineering personnel to generate InFusion displays, build simple control loops, and understand general InFusion system diagnostic messages from a process and maintenance engineer's perspective. Participants will learn to identify major hardware and software components of the InFusion Enterprise Control System. Participants will also learn the mechanisms and priorities used in process alarm reporting and will be taught to enable and disable alarm reporting. This course also introduces the programming steps needed to access and engineer the InFusion Historian. You will learn to manipulate data using mathematical functions. You will also practice configuring an InFusion Historian server to retrieve data and reports into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Web-based application, among other tasks. This hands-on course is designed to give you up-to-date information on creating, managing, and interrogating this sophisticated database. 5003 InFusion Enterprise Information Tools
This instructor-led course will help increase plant availability and utilization through improved performance by enabling plant engineering personnel to gather and process critical information and make it available to appropriate plant staff in real-time. Part of the course is designed to prepare the participant set up SuiteVoyager® for InFusion Web server and convert InFusion View windows to view over the Internet. Participants will gain the necessary knowledge about InFusion View to develop networked Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for their specific plant floor environment using the following features/functionality: Network Application Development (NAD), Indirect Tags, Dynamic Reference Addressing, Remote Tagname Referencing, SuperTags, InFusion View NetDDE, SuiteLink, OPC, and ActiveX. Participants will also be introduced to the setup and management of InFusion View for Terminal Services and how to view their InFusion View applications over the plant intranet or the Internet using SuiteVoyager for InFusion. During this course, participants will assess various business cases and technically based case studies and will use IndustrialSQL Server to configure effective technical solutions to common business information issues. ActiveFactory for InFusion client tools are used throughout the course to demonstrate and expedite InSQL data retrieval. Upon completion of this course, participants should have a thorough understanding of IndustrialSQL Server deployment solutions. They should also have a thorough understanding of various IndustrialSQL Server system components and be able to optimize them for enhanced performance on the plant floor.
